Nursery Rhyme Challenge

Jordan has worked towards this Eight Rhyme Challenge over the last few weeks at school and he decided that he wanted to dress up as the Grand Old Duke of York for his presentation. He had a very firm idea in his head of the costume he needed, Gold buttons, Red Jacket, Boots, Tall Hat.

Ok so we managed to get some of them right and he compromised on a few of them too. I had a few midnight brain waves but these apparently didn't meet his requirements. Thankfully another Mum at school came up with a usuable option for the jacket and the rest we pulled together at home. So on Friday afternoon before I escaped for a girls weekend away this is what we pulled together.

He was so very proud of it all. And enjoyed using lots of glitter glue on the hat.
