The Science Expo at The Gap State Primary School is a really big event each year and this year Caleb decided he was going to enter in it. Being the scientifically minded person I am I left all the details up to Peter (the Mathematician) and wisely sent him off to join Aldous and Flynn's Dad's to get the project up and running.
The boys decided on "Stable Structures" as their project and spent a few afternoons talking (playing soccer) preparing their structure (playing soccer) and writing up their presentation Oh and they played soccer too. It is hard to be a six year old boy!
They set the project up at the expo and were very excited about it all. Part of the judging involves being able to talk to the judges about the project and what they did and the conclusions they came to.
Obviously somewhere through all the discussions and playing soccer something must have been absorbed by the boys as they came home with GOLD at the end of the night.
They were all very proud as were their parents now we have the bar set for future expos.
