Birthday # 5

Jordan celebrated his birthday today with lots of friends from school. He had chosen a racing car theme which started with the choice of cake being a #5 race car track.

We had the best time, I say we, as I had just as much fun doing all the preparations for today as I think Jordan had enjoying it all.
We had car races, pin the wheel on the car, pass the parcel and lots of other games to play. The food was all a hit particularly the tiny teddy milky way cars. I had to hold the kids back long enough to get photos of it all.
A big thank you must go to a high school friend Emma who did all the cupcake wrappers, toppers and banner for me. These we just fantastic and really added to the theme of the day. I really must learn how to do more of this myself.
Jordan really did have a wonderful day and was a very lucky boy who was given some wonderful gifts to which "Awesome" and "Oh my goodness" was the resounding response.
It is wonderful to have so many friends and wonderful people to celebrate with. I hope everyone had just as much fun as Jordan did even though it was very cold, the rain held off and we had a wonderful time celebrating all that Jordan loves to be. A little man who loves his cars!
