September Holidays

We had a fairly busy week up at Noosa over the holidays. It wasn't planned to be that way but when it poured with rain for a couple of days we had a bit of cabin fever and had to get out and about when we could. It also doesn't help that I am a pathological photo taker these days and have to have lots of photos of everything.


We explored the Big Pineapple which the kids seemed to enjoy, lots of animals, train rides and climbing the pineapple was a huge hit particularly with Jordan who thought it was just fantastic. Peter attempted a humongous ice cream sundae which I am happy to say he didn't make it through.

Tennis is our latest sporting adventure and both of the boys are quite taken with it. Jordan in particular has already said he wants to play tennis next year at school. Caleb surprised us though with quite a bit of co ordination when it came to playing. The swim was well deserved after this workout.

We topped the week off with a visit to Australia Zoo and I must say I was quite impressed with it all. We had to keep moving to try to get through it all and we didn't get to see everything but it was a great time and Caleb in particular enjoyed it all. Ben 10 was a theme throughout the park over the holidays and I must admit the animals had some tough competition as it was really the Ben 10 stuff the boys were fixated on.

Lots of swimming rounded out a great week away.
