Caleb had a visit today from his friend Alex. The boys really play very well together and come up with some amazing games. If they haven't seen each other for a while though it takes them about an hour to get into the swing of things again.
Today was a bit like that as we diverted them from the Tv and Wii etc. I gave them a big bucket of chalk with instructions on where it could be used.
About half an hour later they were fully involved in a game of "police workers" and were busy on bikes and running around the yard. It was lovely to hear their conversations, and the give and take as they created their game. After we had packed the yard up and said goodbye I went to finish off outside and noticed this on the blackboard in the cubby. . .

so in case you can't read it we have "Alex and Caleb club Haws plis w???"
Which translated is Alex and Caleb club house police workers. I had to take a photo of this to cherish and enjoy before they start writing swear words instead.
